By Colin Biswell

I grew up in WGC from 1944 until I left to go to Australia in 1965.

We lived first in Essendon Gardens and then after the war moved to 7, Ludwick Way, until I went to Australia.

Currently living in Tasmania.

I was born and raised at 43 Ludwick Way during and post war years.  They were little three bedroom terraced council homes adequate for families use and were very cold in winter time.   Remember the road which was just a mud path.
