Shoplands Playground behind 185 Knightsfield, Welwyn Garden City. This image shows the bus shaped climbing frame, an arched climbing fram and a dome, you can see the head of a rocking seesaw just to the left of the picture. There was also an old fashioned wooden roundabout and some swings which are out of the picture. The houses are in Summer Dale. Taken 1966.

I remember playing on the swings as a kids in the late 60’s – 70’s. The dome shaped frame was called the igloo and there was also a sandpit.
