Peter O talks about joining the 2nd Welwyn Garden City scout troop in 1964, when they met in an old building on homestead lane, on a Thursday evening. He talks about how they helped to clear a space for a new building near an orchard, and how they merged with the 5th WGC scouts in 1968. He discusses some of the badges and activities he did with the Venture Scouts, such as first aid training, caving, canoeing, and trips away to Southampton, Gloucestershire and the Lake District. Finally he goes on to talk briefly about his school.
