An invitation to all Girl Guides linked to Welwyn Garden City
This year, 2014, the Guide Hut in Guessens Road is 85 years old and to celebrate they are having a Big Birthday Tea Party on 5th October from 2pm – 4pm at the Guide Hut. There will be plenty of tea and cake, displays of old log books, uniforms and photographs as well as examples of modern day guiding activities. They would love you to come and join them and share your memories of being a Rainbow, Brownie, Guide or Leader. These collective memories can then be shared with future generations of girls and help to continue the heritage of Girlguiding in Welwyn Garden City.
