These images were taken by Studio Lisa, a photographic studio established by Jimmie and Lisa Sheridan in Welwyn Garden City in March, 1934. They had previously operated from a small studio in Broadstairs and were already well known in the Press and advertising world.
They eventually branched out into portraiture and became well known for taking informal photographs of the Royal family.
