Many former pupils returned to Stanborough School on 4th July, 2010 to witness the formal launch of the restored school clock. This was one of the many events organised as a celebration of their 70th year, 2009-2010.

That was me! I went to Welwyn Garden City Grammar School (now Stanborough School) from 1953 to 1958 when I did my O Levels then left to work for Welwyn Coachworks.
I did manage to make it, from my home near Rochdale, to Stanborough for the 70th reunion after hearing about it from my daughter who knew I had attended the school.
