I was married in1969 in the St Mary’s Church Howlands; sadly divorced after 20 years and now live in Cambridgeshire but do miss Welwyn garden having spent most of my childhood there living in 13 Golden Dell. We moved in when I was 9. New houses my dad worked for the council. I remember getting to the church and a bus went past and its passengers cheered.
I was married at Christ the Kings, Haldens on 22nd August 1981.
