As a start to the centenary events planned for Welwyn Garden City: Henry Moore’s Large Standing Figure: Knife Edge, a bronze sculpture, was erected on the 18th of December 2019.

The statue stands 5 m tall next to the Coronation Fountain on the Parkway in Welwyn Garden City.

The bronze is on loan through the generosity of the Henry Moore Foundation and significant sponsorship has been raised to cover the costs of the installation through to early 2021.

A descriptive plaque has been placed next to the sculpture for visitors.
