Murphy Radio

In 1928 Frank Murphy moved his radio factory from a small garage in Brockswood Lane to a unit in Broadwater Road - "some sort of workshop where radio experimenets could be carried out". Little could he have realised how important a Murphy Radio would become to the nation and Welwyn Garden City
