My step father was the caretaker at Heronswood. We lived in the bungalow.
Teachers I remember were Mr Humphreys, Mr Applegarth, Mr Chiivers, Mrs Bates, Mr Cozens and Mr Gryfiss. Though there were many more.

I went to Heronswood from 1960 to 1965. The only teachers I remember were Mr. Hunter, who was a history teacher, and Clarence Applegate.Hunter was a really good teacher.
Applegate, not so much.He hated kids, and was the meanest person I have ever met, especially towards the girls. Happy days though.
