Gordon S discusses the formation and activities of the 20-35 Club in WGC in the 1940s.  He talks about some of the social functions including a Tramps Supper at the Cresta Silks factory, dances to live music including Graham Bell & his Dixieland band.  The 20-35 Club was primarily a youth club but  was seen by some as a ‘marriage bureau’ as a number of members met their future partners there.
